Few And Far Between – Now With Video
19 JulYesterday I posted about the “Few and Far” project featuring female graff artists collaborating on murals in Oakland, and in the future Seattle and Miami. Today I see that I missed the accompanying video featuring the artists going to work on the Oakland mural. I suggest you pop this open in a new window and watch this ish in HD. Few And Far Between
18 JulThere’s a cool project going down called Few And Far highlighting women in graffiti. The project is an attempt to connect women from across the US to collaborate on projects. Graffiti is heavily male dominated and it’s cool to see some of the opposite sex throw down with the same technical ability and creativity as the best male writers. The first mural was just completed in Oakland featuring 179, Myla, Beth Emmerich, Acet, Muse, Toofly, Dime, KSRA, Lady Mags, Meme, Hops, Agana, and Reds.
The project is also heading up the coast to Seattle sometime in August so I’ll keep you posted. Check out more Oakland photos here.
