Artopia is an annual arts festival that takes place in Georgetown. Artopia features arts of every kind placed seemingly without any particular arrangement throughout the streets and alleyways of Georgetown. Although I have gone to Artopia in previous years, it continues to amaze me. Throughout the next week I will be putting up posts about Artopia, and also just the Georgetown street art scene.
When I was at Artopia i noticed these decorated vehicles and thought that they were really cool. I especially like the robot girl and the fish girl who were on opposite sides of a RV type car.
Yesterday I was in Georgetown for Artopia. While I was there and walking around I found a black wall covered in really cool art. My favorites are the old man which someone graciously added a tack to and the spray-paint hornet. You can also see some art by Starhead Boy there.
I’ll have more pictures from Artopia up over the next couple of days. For more information on Artopia click here.
